Keith Myers' custom RA and Dec. cables plus a specialized power cable ready for a night of abserving.

The reason for asking Keith to make the cables was installing Scott Losmandy's new HST motor. The AZ bolt made the old straight-in connecter bend quite a lot - not with the new right-angle one!

I didn't really need a new Dec cable but it dresses so much nicer now.

One of the things I had planned to do was shorten the Gemini power cable and perhaps change out the cig. lighter plug for some nice banana plugs as my Pyramid power supply had both types or connectors. Here you can see the custom four foot cable with nice banana plugs plus a 12" pigtail that changes "gender" to ring connectors.

Adding the pigtail to the power cable converts from the banana plugs to two 3/8" ring connectors. When out in the field with the Xantrex battery this is a much more positive connection than the cig. lighter outlet.
